Communicating with the collective consciousness is an act of creative visualization. The essense of creative visualization is poignantly captured by Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich! It was Hill who first said:

The Preparation. Using creative visualization to tap into the power of the collective consciousness is easier than you might think. It doesn’t require you to become a different person or forget who you are. It just requires you to train your mind to think without your negative emotions getting in the way. Here are the strategies you can implement to harness this power:

• Release Your Mind. The first thing to do is train yourself to quiet your mind. Free yourself of any thoughts of lessons you’ve “learned” in life at times when you were made to feel powerless – emotions like hatred, frustration, resentment or sorrow.

• Think Positively. Focus on shifting your mindset from suspicious to optimistic. We place too much emphasis on this society on equating maturity with pessimism. Your first mission before linking into a higher consciousness is to develop a positive mental attitude.

• Rein in Your Emotions. The collective mind can be seen at work in the way it generates principles of philosophy and law. These disciplines are similar in that they thrive in spaces of dispassion. It is that emotional space that powers up the collective consciousness to put a wealth building plan on track as well. Start to align your emotions accordingly.

  Recognize that your emotions, while helping you to negotiate your personal life, so not serve you in the same way in professional and financial matters, especially ones that require mental clarity and meditation.

• Rethink Unfairness. Take a step back from the experiences that have defined who you think yourself to be. Forget how life has scathed you. Forget where you are right now socioeconomically, and forget how you compare with your colleagues and friends. Focus only on the present, not on how things came to be.

• Rethink Personal Judgments. Strive to be an open minded individual who can become wrapped into collective thinking gracefully and naturally. You can not be in alignment with the collective mind when you make personal judgments about life events, what with so many individual experiences and perceptions differing from yours.

  This is probably the hardest part of the preparation, because you have applied your personal judgments to why unfairness exists in the world for the good part of your life. But it is necessary to at least temporarily release yourself from these perceptions, because someone else in your shoes might have a completely different spin on the reasons life unfolds the way that it does. The collective consciousness absorbs all of these individualized life viewpoints, and you will clash with the collective mind if you hold fast to your own without taking the others into account.

• Study the Web. Remember that on the Internet, we enjoy perhaps man’s most successful attempt at working with the collective consciousness. We transcend personal biases and differences of culture every day there, so that we can communicate with each other through pure consciousness.

  Spend some time on the Internet getting to understand what we as human beings expect from the world. Discover what we as humans need and aspire to become. The Web is levelling the playing field across race, class and gender for perhaps the first time in modern history. No longer do we have to be judged by the way we look, talk or feel. The Internet continues to revolutionize the way business is done and relationships are forged.

Stumble It!Think selflessly as you learn more about creative visualization. Your foremost objective should not be your own personal wealth blueprint or how to resolve your pressing need for money. Rather, your first and principal thought should always be what can you offer to society that might be of value.
